One thing absolute in these times is that every day brings uncertainty. It is more apparent than ever that we need to live our lives to the fullest, spend time with our families, take a moment to do something nice for ourselves and de-stress and of course always try to look on the bright side!
Our world has been turned upside down: the economy, health issues, savings and personal wealth (or what’s left of it), and the most uncontrollable of all, Mother Nature’s surprises!
The Jesusita Fire has just swept through Santa Barbara, our neighbors to the north. This fire has practically devastated parts of this fine city for the second time this year.
It is so strange to know that only 35 minutes over the hill in Ojai, it is a different world: one of calmness and blue skies. Our wonderful retreat is an environment that is very much needed at times like these.
Please know Santa Barbara, we are here to help anyway we can.
While it is hard to forget and move on, we know that just being in Ojai may be what is required to think more clearly and make a plan to move forward. Our nurturing staff, and beautiful surroundings await you.
