The KMBS marketing team recently took the show on the road with the Cross Country Road Show, and by all accounts, our five-stop, one-day event was a resounding success. With stops in Vancouver, Alberta, Toronto, Montreal, and Nova Scotia, the Road Show featured a half-day product showcase where branches participated in a series of six interactive work groups, and a half-day Marketing 101 course where branches received some great marketing information and the new “Office Affair” national advertising campaign officially launched. Participants received a marketing binder containing materials featured in the Road Show presentations, and will be receiving follow-up materials to include in the binder. Don’t forget to file this newsletter under the Newsletter tab!
If you missed your local Road Show, but would like a marketing binder, or require an additional binder, please contact marketing@kmtoolkit.ca
It’s time for “The Office Affair"
Our national advertising campaign hit the papers, the Internet, and over the next couple of months will take to the skies and will continue to be visible throughout the rest of the fiscal year. Building on the popular 2007 “All you need is hub” campaign, “The Office Affair” shows just how bizhub colour MFPs can help with all of the affairs of the office. Whether clients are looking for image quality, reliability, productivity, enhanced security, or all of the above, our eye catching, playful ads and support material certainly show how our bizhub MFPs fit the bill. Look for our campaign in print and on the web in the Globe & Mail, Maclean’s, En Route, Backbone, IT Quarterly, and Information Canada until October 2008. Also, check out our campaign microsite at www.theofficeaffair.com and www.allyouneedishub.com.
The big score for six lucky winners.
Our first ever national contest, the Score of a Lifetime, wrapped up in May and six lucky winners and their guests were flown to Quebec City to enjoy the IIHF World Championship men’s gold medal game. Mr. Matthew Pike of Toronto, ON
Ms. Barbara Lyle of Selburne, NS
Ms. Judy Van Ryn of Toronto, ON
Mr. Donald Nebo of Edmonton, AB
Don’t forget the Toolkit.
The Konica Minolta Online Marketing Toolkit (www.kmtoolkit.ca) continues to be your one-stop source for marketing and advertising materials and all the news and information you need to generate leads and drive sales. Featuring professionally printed brochures, downloadable, customizable direct mail and support pieces, and a full range of promotional materials, the KM Toolkit www.kmtoolkit.ca, was created for you and we hope you take advantage of all of the tools available.
The toolkit was launched in November 2007 and since then we’ve enhanced the site while consistently adding new tools and resources. If you haven’t logged in to the site or haven’t visited recently, here are some of the latest and greatest resources to arrive on the Toolkit:
Hockey and Indy-themed bizhub copier wrap. If you have a client that is nuts for hockey or car racing then help them show their true colours with a themed vinyl sticker. Available only from Konica-Minolta, the wrap can be applied directly to the front of any bizhub machine. Not to mention they look great in any demo Room. For more details visit the Toolkit, and select Promotional Materials.
Keep the “affair” alive. You will find lots of great promotional materials in support of “The Office Affair” ad campaign in the Promotional Materials. From a branded candy tin and temporary tattoos to post-it notes and USB drives, there’s lots of ways to keep the affair going this summer!
Off season style. Ok, so we are more likely to find hockey players on the links than at the rink, but that doesn’t mean we can’t keep our national pastime top of mind with some terrific Hockey Canada branded wearables. If your clients are spending time on the golf course as well, suit up in a Hockey Canada golf shirt or protect your clients from the sun with a HC hat at the beach, or a casual red HC tee for the cottage. Most Hockey Canada wearables are manufactured by Nike and there are items for men and women.
